The Missional Culture Project is a cohort-based program for church leaders designed to help them overcome obstacles to missional movement
The Missional Culture Project blends training, coaching, and gathering to walk with leaders as they lay down model-first approaches to mission in favor of pursuing a mindset shift in their churches.

WHAT’S INVOLVED
You will participate in 2 formation retreats, a year of training, and have access to up to $10,000 for new projects.

Our grant funding makes this program virtually FREE to congregations.

How does it work?
Holistic Training
You’ll take part in a course of training built around missional paradigms, personal spirituality, and developmental leadership.
Practical Coaching
You’ll have access to a team of coaches who understand your context because they’ve been where you are.
Kingdom Partnership
You’ll be a part of a community of missional practitioners from around the country who are eager to walk with you on your journey.
What’s Included?
Opening & Closing Retreats
We’ll begin and end with two-and-a-half days in Colorado Springs, CO at the Glen Eyrie retreat center. We’ll focus on introducing key missional paradigms and cultivating missional spirituality.
Training & Coaching
We’ll gather online about once a month for a year to journey together through making missional shifts. You’ll be paired with a coach who will be your guide as you discern how the Lord is calling you and your church to grow in mission.
Activation Grants
You’ll have the opportunity to apply for up to $10,000 in funding to launch a new initiative to mobilize everyday missionaries in your congregation.
Ideal Candidates
The Missional Culture Project is designed for churches under 800 in attendance who possess:
An Outward Focus
While ideal churches may not be considered “missional”, they will have a history and pattern of being focused on serving their localities.
Engaged Leadership
Ideal churches will have staff and lay leaders who are committed to the journey that is required of making missional shifts.
Established Infrastructure
Ideal churches will have the programatic and management structures in place to develop a strategic approach to a missional shift.
